Supported archive devices

The following table lists supported devices and the maximum TAR file size allowed.

  • For on-premises deployments, you can archive files on different types of media.

  • For cloud deployments, you can archive files on native cloud storage, according to the deployment environment.

Any fixed media (fileshare, FTP, Hitachi HCP, EMC Centera, Amazon S3, Azure Blob Storage, GCS) in the enterprise must be defined in Enterprise Manager before it can be assigned for use with Archive. Define the fixed media on the Archive Media page under Campaigns in Recording Management. To manage each removable media device, use the Recorder Manager on the Archive servers.
