Assign the Content Server server role
The Content Server Server role in the Site zone that uses an HTTP/HTTPS Web-based file retrieval component to search for interactions. The content server’s search is triggered by the Locator, which is the Interaction Applications’ DLL. server role Entity that contains a logical, predefined set of components (system software or certified third-party software) deployed in the Data Center and Site Zones that provide specific functionality for the system. must be enabled on all recorder and Central Archive servers to fetch and replay recorded and archived content.
Procedure

Log on to the Enterprise portal Home page or main UI access point for all WFO applications. (Enterprise Manager).

Go to System Management Module that allows performing suite-wide system management activities from a single, Web-based application, the Enterprise Manager. > Enterprise > Settings.

In the Installations tree, select a recorder or Central Archive server.

Click Server Roles.

Click to select Content Server.

Complete the Settings and Associations for the Content Server.
Make sure that it is associated with the Archive Database Service server role. This association allows the Content Server to communicate with the Archive Web Service that provides access to the Archive Database. This association also enables the Content Server to look up files that have been archived.

Enable the role on each recorder and Central Archive server in the system.
