Create a workstation group and assign workstations

Procedure 

1. Complete the following fields:

   • Platform—This is the platform Predefined logical group of server roles installed together on a physical server. or operating system for this workstation. Select Windows, OS/2, or Windows Terminal Server. If you select Windows Terminal server, Phone Data Source and Extension are disabled.

   • Phone Data Source—Select the Phone data source Third-party systems that provide data to the system, including employee and device states, and data change events. Typical data sources are phone switches, PBXs, or LANs. if you are creating static workspace Area within an application window where the user interacts with the program. by assigning the workstation to Extension.

   • Extension—Click the pencil button to specify the TDM or IP telephone extension associated with this workstation. This applies only if you are creating static workspaces.

2. Click Assign.
