Avaya Proactive Outreach Manager

Use the following procedure to create an adapter for the Avaya Proactive Outreach Manager (POM) dialer.

Procedure 

  1. Choose General Setup > Integration Service > Settings.

  2. Click Create.

  3. Select Avaya POM Adapter.

  4. Specify settings for this adapter in the right-hand pane, referring to the following table (all fields are required unless otherwise indicated):

    Field

    Description

    Adapter Name

    Type a unique name for this adapter. Do not use any special characters or characters that truncate xml. This field is not case sensitive.

    Description

    Optional: Type a description of the adapter.

    Adapter Type

    A read-only field that lists the adapter selected above.

    Startup Type

    Select a startup type: Automatic, Manual, or Disabled.

    DataSource

    Select the Proactive Outreach Manager data source Third-party systems that provide data to the system, including employee and device states, and data change events. Typical data sources are phone switches, PBXs, or LANs..

    Hostname(s)

    The POM Server hostname or IP address. You may have multiple POM servers set up for a single dialer, for redundancy. In this case, include all addresses as a comma-separated list. Only one of these servers will be active at a given time. If you configure the adapter with multiple POM server addresses, it will try each one in turn, until one connects successfully. Port The port on which to connect to the POM Server(s). The default is 7999. All redundant servers must be listening on the same port.

    User Name

    The Avaya Aura Experience Portal (AAEP) user name used to log into the POM server. The AAEP user name is the user who has WFO Recording permission.

    Password

    The AAEP password for the user configured in the User Name field above.

    Zone

    The Zone configured for the agents to be monitored on the POM dialer. If no Zone is configured, use Default.

  5. Click Save.

  6. Select the adapter in the left-hand pane and click the Start button to start the adapter.
