Unify (Siemens) CSTA Adapter

The Unify (Siemens) CSTA Adapter integrates the Verint Workforce Optimization Recorder with the CSTA Server. The adapter is defined in Recorder Manager on the Integration Service server.

Procedure 

  1. In Recorder Manager, choose General Setup > Integration Adapters > Settings.

  2. Configure the generic adapter settings prior to configuring the specific adapter settings.

  3. Click Create, then select Unify (Siemens) CSTA Adapter.

  4. Specify settings for this adapter in the right-hand pane, referring to the following table. All fields are required unless otherwise indicated.

    Description

    Server Hostname

    Specify the host name of the OSV Server to connect to. The default is server.

    Server Port

    Specify the port number of the OSV Server to connect to. The default is 9000.

    Use Backup Server

    Select the check box to back up the OSV Server.

    Backup Server Hostname

    Specify the backup hostname of the OSV Server to connect to. The default is server2.

    Backup Server Port

    Specify the backup port number of the OSV Server. The default is 9000.

    Use CAP

    Disable this field.

    CAP License

    The field is not used when connecting directly with CSTA.

    Login

    The field is not used when connecting directly with CSTA.

    Password

    The field is not used when connecting directly with CSTA.

    use Application ID

    The field is not used when connecting directly with CSTA.

    Application ID

    The field is not used when connecting directly with CSTA.

    Queue Registration

    Select Do Not Register, Register Queues Configured on DataSource, or Register All Queues from the dropdown list.

    Allow

    Registration of

    Trunks

    Select this option if you are using the Call Tracking through Queues feature by registering trunks.

    Process Agent

    Events

    Disable this setting to support the Tag Only feature. You must also create an OSCC adapter.

  5. Under Advanced Settings, use the Key and Value fields to enter any proprietary pairs that are in use in your system.

  6. Click Save.

  7. Select the adapter in the left-hand pane and click the Start button to start the adapter.
