Create member groups for Lync recording

The member groups you create will define what to record, and help establish the type of recording you want to do (Delivery or Interception).

The addresses you specify in the member group(s) will be used to determine which calls to record, and how to record them. If you configure multiple member groups, Lync Proxy will:

• attempt first to use Interception, then Delivery,

  and,

• use the member group that is best in terms of its proximity to either the Mediation or Edge Server (in the case of Interception) or clients (in the case of Delivery).

If you configure multiple member groups of the same type, Lync Proxy will pick one of the member groups to use. For example, if two Delivery member groups match address filtering, no optimization will be performed, and Lync Proxy will pick one of member groups.
